Johnson Earns All-Academic Honor in Region X

Dobson, NC – Surry’s Kaylee Johnson recently earned All-Academic honors in softball as announced by Region X.  Johnson, a sophomore from South Iredell High School posted a 3.617 cumulative grade point average while participating in softball for two years at Surry.  Last year, she helped lead the Lady Knights to the Region X championship and an appearance at the NJCAA World Series in Clinton, Mississippi.  “This is an outstanding honor for not only Kaylee, but our entire softball program,” stated Surry head coach, Blaine Bullington.  “Kaylee is most deserving of this award, and we are extremely proud of her accomplishments.”  In addition, Johnson was named to both the Dean’s List and President’s List during her time at Surry.
