Blaine Bullington, head softball coach for the Lady Knights Softball Program at Surry Community College, is no stranger to the game. He has been coaching softball for 30 years beginning his career with youth softball. As a coach he has won 8 district and state titles as well as taking a team all the way across the country to the Little League Softball World Series. He has been the head coach at Surry Community college for 8 seasons where he has had great success in building the program and allowing many young ladies to continue their softball career as well as their education at the next level past Surry. He successfully led the Lady Knights to the NJCAA Division II National Championship in 2015. Named Region X Division II Coach of the Year in 2016, Coach Bullington continues to strive to build an outstanding program. Blaine has been married to Tina for 35 years. The two have four children and six grand children and live in Surry County, North Carolina.
